BridgeStation experienced unscheduled downtime today - 8th March 2018. This meant that the BridgeStation client websites, as well as the support site, were unavailable from approx 14:00 to 16:00. This was due to an issue at the datacentre, which has since been rectified. We apologise for the inconvenience the downtime this morning may have caused. We will post details on the cause and steps taken to ensure this doesn't happen again when we have them.
UPDATE:
This outage was traced to server software used to manage the data storage. This became locked and meant the sites crashed and couldn't contact their database. This was resolved within 2 hours. To stop this the storage software will be updated and adjusted to avoid this issue in the future.
