Inspections - Removing elements from a form

The elements available on an inspection form are based on the elements applied to the structure. You can remove elements to a structure's element hierarchy and then update your inspection form. Make sure to review the Archive Date of the elements during this process.

To remove elements from an inspection form first, click on Elements on the Structure Menu.
 
 
Click the Edit an existing compliant inventory option on the Modify Inventory section of the page.

 
To remove an element, left click on the element in the hierarchy. Click Archive in the Element Details panel on the right.

 
Be sure to pick an accurate date for the archive date, as this will affect whether the element appears on the inspection form. Elements archived prior to the inspection date will not show on the inspection forms.

With the elements removed on the element hierarchy its time to go back to the inspection form, click Inspections on the Structure Menu,
 
 
locate the inspection you were working on and open it by clicking View.
 
 
Now click the Update Element list button just above the Element Conditions grid.
 
 
The element conditions grid will update and the elements will be removed from the form.
