Inspections that have been Submitted or Accepted/Approved will be locked for further edits. You will also find that the inspection programming information such as Inspection Type and Financial Year can no longer be edited.
The Actions icons that display next to the Inspections will have disappeared,
and the inspection proforma itself will be locked for edits as well, with the Save Changes, Cancel Changes and Clear Inspection Form buttons deactivated. Data input is also no longer active on the form.
However, there may be circumstances where you wish to make one or more of the following adjustments:
- Changing the Inspection Type (for example from GI to PI and visa versa)
- Adjust the Planned Date and Financial Year for the inspection
- Make changes to the inspection proforma such as element conditions, commentary and attached photos
- Delete an Inspection entirely
To do this you will first have to set the inspection back to a status that will allow those with appropriate permissions to edit the proforma and/or adjust the inspection type and financial date.
Open the inspection and click Update Status. You then have two options:
- Update the Signoff Status to Rejected
- Update the Signoff Status to Draft
Open the inspection and in the Inspection Sign Of Summary section, click the Update Status button. In the popup pick out a new signoff status and then Click Update Status
In the example above, once the form has been returned to Draft status, you can the start making edits to your inspection form again.
Once you have made your required edits, you will then need to Re-submit your inspection again for review and eventually Acceptance/Approval.
