Environment Awareness and Hazard Assessment sheets can be completed as part of each CSS Inspection or Consistent Element Inventories (CEI) Inspection Proforma. The latest versions of the two sheets can be viewed via the structure summary page.

Completing an environment awareness sheet
To start completing these sheets, first open a
CSS Inspection or and
CEI Inspection Proforma. You will be presented with a set of tabs at the top of the proforma.
Click the
Environment Awareness Sheet tab to open up a sheet to be edited. There are 5 main sections on this form which collect information on general details, structure surroundings, the structure itself as well as a section to record additional comments. Users can make use of the checkboxes and input boxes to complete the sheet.
There is also an
Asbestos Management section. This information is recorded against the structure as a whole but is presented here on the inspection's environment awareness sheet so it can be edited.
Once this asbestos information has been updated the updated data appears on all versions of the environment sheet on all inspections.
Viewing the latest version of the environment awareness sheet
To view the latest version of the environment awareness sheet, head to the
structure summary. You can click the
Back to Structure Summary tab in the inspection tab set to navigate quickly to the summary. Here you again see a set of tabs. This time there is a tab called
Latest Environment Awareness Sheet that you can click to view the latest version.
These latest versions are read only and cannot be edited. Editing is only available via the inspection proforma itself.
All previously saved sheets are also available to be viewed on this page. Use the
Show me Environment Assessment dated : drop down to select the assessment date you are interested in.
Migrating older environment awareness information
If you have previously entered Environment Awareness sheet information against the structure as a whole it can still be viewed under the
Latest Environment Awareness Sheet tab. It will no longer be editable, and will be replaced by any newly created sheets. To link an older Environment Awareness sheet to an inspection record, please contact the
