Description
This gauge shows the current stock condition for the selected authority based upon the latest condition information for each structure. The stock condition is calculated automatically by BridgeStation according to the following guidance. The only structure types included in the calculation are: - Bridges - Footbridges - Retaining Wall - Tunnel

Assessed/Assessed within the last 18 years
This gauge has two different needles. One white needle showing a count for structures with assessments completed within the last 18 years. The black needle shows a count of structures with an assessment completed at any time.
To improve the white needle make sure there are recently completed assessments stored against as many structures as possible. You can learn more about adding assessments here.
Structures with basic data in BridgeStation
This gauge shows a count of structures for the select authority that satisfy a minimum data completeness test. Certain data must be recorded against the structure in order for the structure to be counted. To view the required data click on the View Data link above the gauge to see the required fields.

Annual Inspections (Current Financial Year)
This gauge shows how many of the inspections planned for this year have been submitted into BridgeStation.
If the number of inspections expected for this year looks low make sure to add more planned inspections. You can use the inspection scheduler to do this. If the number of submitted inspections looks too low make sure you have inputted and saved all your inspection information. You can view the article on adding inspections here.
Structures with inspection results
This gauge shows how many structures have at least one inspection recorded against them. Inspection are counted against a structure regardless of the current year's inspection programme. The dial includes a set of option buttons at the bottom. Use these to specify the timescale within which inspections are considered to affect the gauge needle.
